My (already fairly spammed-up) official uni email address consists of my first initial followed by a dot followed by my surname followed by that funny thingy followed by the two letters mx then a dot then the word uni then a hyphen then the eight-letter name of the German state in which the uni is situated then that ubiquitous dot again then the first two letters of the German name for Germany.
